Air-flown straight from the lush green pastures of New Zealand, our grass-fed beef diet is a mix of knuckle meat and nutrient-dense offals derived from the heart, lungs, liver and spleen. This combination delivers a fortifying dose of protein, minerals, vitamins and fat that your dog will thrive on. 

Sea kelp and free-range eggshells are added in replacement of beef bones for calcium. Our beef diet consists of about 8% fat content. Adding only about 25% of vegetables, and 5% of immune fortifying supplements, provides a well-balanced diet.

Can dogs eat raw beef meat?

  • Yes, healthy, non-immune compromised dogs can eat raw beef that has been prepared under strict hygienic conditions. Both are great protein sources. If sourcing from frozen, make sure they are thawed properly, overnight in a chiller at 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. We recommend feeding pork that has been frozen for 3 weeks to prevent any cases of parasitism.

How to feed raw beef to your dog

  • It can be added to their meal or given separately as a treat. It can be room temperature or slightly chilled for larger dogs. If the dog does not consume it within 30 minutes, throw it out. Do not refrigerate and do not refreeze.

How much raw beef meat can a dog eat?

  • That depends on the size of the dog. Only beef meat is not a balanced meal and should be combined with organs, vegetables, seeds and if necessary, certain supplements to reach nutrient requirements.
