EXPERT TIPS

Why matters:

Excess phosphorus is difficult for kidneys to filter out. When kidneys are under pressure, phosphorus becomes the enemy. These recipes keep it low without sacrificing the protein your dog needs.

Why we use egg white:

Egg white has one of the highest biological value protein scores and is very low in phosphorus — a rare combination for phosphorus kidney dogs.

Hydration is part of nutrition:

Moisture is part of the medicine for kidney dogs. That's why we've included stews and congee — hydration built right into every meal.
